These terms govern the conclusion of contracts for the purchase of objects through the AUREIR website. The German version is authoritative.
Scope.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded through the AUREIR online shop.
The contracting party within the meaning of these Terms and Conditions is AUREIR, proprietor Laura J. Weiner, Leipzig, Roßlauer Str. 2 (rear building), 04157 Leipzig, Germany.
Consumers are natural persons who enter into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.
Contract Conclusion.
- 2.1The presentation of objects in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order.
- 2.2By clicking the “order with obligation to pay” button, customers submit a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract.
- 2.3The contract is concluded when AUREIR accepts the order by sending an order confirmation by email. An automatic order confirmation does not yet constitute acceptance of the offer.
Note AUREIR objects may be produced as standard objects, limited editions, individual pieces or made-to-order objects. Availability may change. If an ordered object is unavailable, AUREIR informs customers without delay and refunds any payments already made.
Prices and Payment Terms.
All prices are total prices including statutory VAT.
The available payment methods are shown during checkout. The purchase price is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.
For made-to-order objects, the total duration of production and shipping within Germany is usually 2 to 4 weeks from receipt of payment.

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, taxes or further fees may apply. These costs are borne by the customer.
Individual shipping costs may apply for special formats or larger objects. They are shown before the order is completed.
Delivery and Delivery Times.
Delivery is made to the delivery address provided during checkout. AUREIR ships from Leipzig.
For made-to-order objects, production begins after receipt of full payment. In these cases, the delivery time also includes the production time.
The estimated production time is shown on the relevant product page. The shipping time is determined additionally according to § 3.
If delivery is not possible for reasons attributable to the customer, the customer bears the costs of reshipping.
Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer.
For consumers, the risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the goods passes upon handover of the goods.
Cancellation Right.
For orders placed through the online shop, a statutory right of withdrawal applies. Details on the withdrawal process and the electronic withdrawal function are described in the cancellation policy / withdrawal instructions.
AUREIR is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Retention of Title.
The goods remain the property of AUREIR until full payment has been made.
Warranty.
Statutory warranty rights apply.
AUREIR objects are made from natural materials and may be partly handcrafted. Variations in color, grain, structure and surface are inherent characteristics of the material.
Such variations are not defects unless they impair the function of the object.
Complaints may be sent informally by email to contact@aureir.com.
Liability.
AUREIR is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence.
In the event of slight negligence, AUREIR is liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
Liability under the German Product Liability Act and for damages arising from injury to life, body or health remains unaffected.
Final Provisions.
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
For contracts with consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive consumers of the protection afforded by mandatory statutory provisions of the country in which they have their habitual residence.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
