Slate edge with fine construction lines
AUREIR · Foundations

Each object is an independent study — sui generis — into the relationship between geological material, the body, and use. AUREIR connects constructive principles with human movement.

Chapter I

Pyroclast evening bag worn by a white statue
Pyroclast · N° 001

AUREIR objects stand alone. No context, no programme. Confident existence without a compulsive search for essence — present in the moment, like geological phenomena that have no name yet.

In the moment of wearing, a second dimension opens: not as a mirror of identity, but as an independent counterpart. The coexistence of body and object becomes a quiet dialogue between two forms that do not absorb one another.

Chapter II

Slate, cork, leather and metal rings as material selection
STONE · CORK · WOOD FILAMENT

As lapidermis, slate forms the most striking component of every AUREIR object — a layer of genuine natural stone approximately 1.5 mm thick, whose surface texture and grain are unique to every piece.

Cork, wood filament, leather, brass: each material remains recognisable. No component steps back. Assembled, they do not produce imitations — they produce relationships.

  • Slate — Lapidermis
  • Cork — Endocortex
  • Wood filament — Corpus

FORM FOLLOWS

Material honesty is not a framework — it is the foundation. Materials are used according to their natural properties and remain visible. Form develops from what the material allows and demands.

The human body is the first and final measure. Ergonomics is not an extra step — it is the essential path to the synthesis of purpose and materiality.

  • Form Follows Material
  • Form Follows Function
  • Form Follows Body
